Career
Wilde joined Connecticut General, whic became part of the Cigna Corporation, in 1914. At the age of 41, he became the company's fourth president.
"He was chairman of the United States Commission on Money and Credit in 1961 and was a consultant to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board. In 1965, he was appointed to the Advisory Committee on International Monetary Arrangements."[1]
