Tim Farron (born 27 May 1970) is a British politician who was the Leader of the Liberal Democrats between July 2015 and July 2017. He announced his resignation on 14 June 2017 following the UK/2017 General Election, remaining in his position until Sir Vince Cable was elected on 20 July 2017.[1][2]
