Agnès Buzyn was France/Minister of Health at the beginning of COVID-19.
She caused controversy by calling temperature checks at airports "a symbol that is useless, except to please the population".[1]
She resigned to run for Mayor of Paris, but did not win. She later joined the WHO.
In September 2021, she is under investigation for her handling of COVID.[2]
