"If the original Clermont set were defined by one quality, it was a reckless taste for taking risks."

The Clermont Club was a group which met at the Clermont Club (founded in 1960 by John Aspinall). Gambling and womanising was a common pastime. "If the original Clermont set were defined by one quality, it was a reckless taste for taking risks."[1]

Exposure

Adam Curtis mentioned the group in his film The Mayfair Set.
