Renato Brunetta is an Italian politician and Minister of Public Administration since February 2021, where was part of implementing the Green pass vaccine passport for "socialization in school, in the workplace and on recreational occasions and entertainment".

IBM

In 2009 Brunetta, on behalf of the Berlusconi government, signed a memorandum of understanding with IBM to "train" public managers, including school leaders. Thanks to this, the American multinational had green light to create its own lobby to get access to the public education sector. This cozy relationship was strengthened by Matteo Renzi in 2016, when the former minister also ceded access to the health data of the Italian population to IBM.

With Brunetta as Minister of Public Administration in the Draghi government from 2021, this infiltration of public administration to continue, as the Green pass is an IBM project.

"In the forefront internationally"

On Oct. 15 2021, Italy declared that any worker who fails to present a valid health certificate will be suspended on no pay, but cannot be sacked. People who ignore the decree and go to work regardless will face a fine of between 600 to 1,500 euros ($705-$1,175). The sanction for employers will be 400-1000 euros.

"Nothing like this has been done in Europe ... we are putting ourselves in the forefront internationally," said Public Administration Minister Renato Brunetta. He added that the government expected an "enormous" acceleration of jabs simply by the announcement of the decree, so that much of its desired effect could be achieved before it actually comes into effect in a month's time.
