Historical revisionism
A bronze statue of Lady Astor was installed in Plymouth, near her former family home, in 2019 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of her election to Parliament. Her statue was vadlaised with the word "nazi" after George Floyd died. She like many other historical figures have been smeared by the media as a Hitler lover for her pacifism in the 1920s and 1930s and alleged "Antisemitism".
