Clacton is a UK parliamentary constituency on the East coast of England which, since 2017, is represented by Giles Watling MP of the Conservative Party.

Clacton constituency comprises a number of seaside resorts along the Tendring peninsula, including Clacton-on-Sea, Frinton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze.

History

Douglas Carswell previously represented the seat from 2005 to 2017 as, successively, a Tory, UKIP and Independent MP.

Giles Watling was elected for the Conservatives in 2017.
