Career

He started his professional activity at the Planeta Group in 1984, holding various positions and progressively taking strategic responsibility within the group. In 2003, the then president, José Manuel Lara Bosch, appointed him vice president and subsequently, on February 13, 2015, he was appointed president. Since 2003 he has been a director of Atresmedia Corporación and a member of the Board of Directors of La Razón.[1] Previously, he had also been president of Tiempo Casa Editorial, the main communication group in Colombia.[2]

He is part of the Executive Committee of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Catalan employers' association Fomento del Trabajo.
