Lorenzo Vallarino Gancia was an Italian was an Italian winemaker and businessman.
Activities
Gancia started "Young entrepreneurs" in 1966, as a result of the Pirelli Statute. He was president of the group from 1966-1970.[1]
He sold the family business, a winery of the same name that had been in the family for 200 years, in 2012. For twelve years he was vice president of Confindustria, Italy's largest employer organization, and a member of the supervisory boards in many companies.
His brother,Vittorio Vallarino Gancia, was kidnapped by the Red Brigades in 1975, but escaped unharmed.
