Sir William Blair (born 31 March 1950) is a High Court Judge in England and Wales since 2008. He was previously a Queen's Counsel, specialising in domestic and international banking and finance law.[1]
Sir William's younger brother is the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.[2]
In March 2016, adjourning a case in London’s High Court over the leadership claims of two rival heads of the Libyan Investment Authority, which controls Libya’s $67 billion sovereign wealth fund, Judge Blair declared it would be premature to rule while moves were afoot to form a Government of National Accord in Libya.[3]
