Georgina Halford-Hall was arrested in June 2014 after blowing the whistle about her son's school.[1] Eventually vindicated when investigations were concluded, "what Georgina learnt was that people who have the courage to whistle-blow are very isolated and unsupported."[2]

Georgina Halford-Hall became a director of WhistleblowersUK on 8 April 2015, the same day as Tom Lloyd. Georgina set up WhistleblowersUK "after blowing the whistle on financial irregularities and poor practice in a charity." [2] The predecessor NGO, Whistleblowers UK, was dissolved the same month and the new company calling itself WhistleblowersUK (i.e. same name but without a space), was formed.
The original organisation imploded due to differences of opinion between its constituent members, one of whom claimed: "She is not a whistleblower and seems to know very little about the subject.
