DescriptionThe elections that saw Brian Crozier's Shield successfully install Margaret Thatcher as UK Prime Minister.

In the 1979 UK General election, Margaret Thatcher was elected as UK Prime Minister.

Clockwork Orange

Full article: Clockwork Orange

In the 1970s, MI5's Clockwork Orange attempted to subvert Harold Wilson's government.

Shield committee

Thatcher's victory reflected hard work by the Shield committee, a committee which was revealed in 1993 by Brian Crozier. At the time, few UK voters had heard of the Bilderberg at which she had made such an impression in 1975 before being selected as part leader (although at least one national newspaper had mentioned her attendance at the group).[1]
