Admiral Sir James Henry Fuller Eberle GCB was Commander-in-Chief Fleet.
Career
James Eberle was in World War II.[1] He went on to be Commander-in-Chief Fleet in 1979 and Commander-in-Chief Naval Home Command in 1981; he retired in 1982.[1]
Later activities
In retirement he became Director of the Royal Institute for International Affairs.[1] He was also Rear Admiral and then Vice-Admiral of the United Kingdom and became Master of the Britannia Beagles hunt.[2]
