Olli Kivinen was a Finnish journalist best remembered for his columns. He worked at Helsingin Sanomat from 1960 to 2004, but continued as a columnist for the magazine even after his retirement. Kivinen's columns usually dealt with international issues. He supported Finland's accession to the European Union, and in his last columns he also spoke in favor of NATO membership.[1]
