The Canadian Ambassador to Italy is the chief diplomatic representative of Canada to Italy. The Canadian Ambassador normally covers a few smaller countries as well, such as Malta and San Marino.
Agreements
Canada and Italy have signed several bilateral agreements such as an Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income and for the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion (1977)[1] and an Agreement of Social Security (1977).[2] In 1981, both nations signed an Extradition Treaty[3] and in 1984, both nations signed a Cultural Cooperation Agreement.[4]
