Not to be confused with The Council on Foreign Relations
The (UK) Council on Foreign Relations was a limited company and suspected UK deep state faction set up in 2010 by the same people who set up the Integrity Initiative. It shared some staff with that group. It was dissolved on 3 September 2019, after the Integrity Initiative Leak had drawn attention to the group.
Origins
The group was incorporated on 16 February 2010. The registered HQ is Gateside Mills, Gateside, Fife, Scotland - the same address as the UK deep state faction, the Integrity Initiative. The founding director was Gary George Gray, but Gray is also listed to have resigned that same day, 16 February 2010.[1] On 9 March Chris Donnelly, Jean-Louis Lafayeedney, Daniel Lafayeedney, Lesley Simm and Oliver James McTernan were appointed as directors. Three of them (Chris Donnelly, Daniel Lafayeedney and Lesley Simm) also founded the Institute for Statecraft[2]
Activities
It is unclear what activities the group got up to, if any. The nature of business is officially registered as:
82990 - Other business support service activities not elsewhere classified
Staff
As of July 2019, the directors were listed as:[1]
- Chris Donnelly (a co-founder of the Institute for Statecraft)
- Daniel Lafayeedney (also a co-founder of the Institute for Statecraft)
- Jean-Louis Lafayeedney (son of Daniel Lafayeedney)[1]
