Professor Alfred W. McCoy is a friend of Peter Dale Scott. He is an expert on the global drug trade, with a special focus on South East Asia.[1]
Publications
- 1972 - The Politics of Heroin in Southeast Asia, one of the first exposes of drug trafficking by the CIA. McCoy reports that the US deep state tried and failed to suppress its publication, but were unsuccessful after since his academic supervisor, Bernhard Dahm, was not susceptible to pressure.[2]
