Wahabism is a faction of Islam which insists on a literal interpretation of the Quran. It is a source of inspiration for members of ISIL, and of the enemy image of the "Islamic Terrorist". It is described by Adam Curtis' 2005 documentary, The Power of Nightmares.
The sect is backed by spooks for use in False Flag Attacks.[1]
