Own words

I’m currently a year 12 student working as a campaign coordinator on the ‘Teach The Future’ campaign, a project which I have been involved with since its creation. It is a great honour to be able to expand my previous contributions as a volunteer in an employed capacity , and I’m elated to be working on such a dynamic campaign.

In addition to this, I’m the youngest person in the world to have an A level in Government and Politics, a qualification which I attained at 13, having self taught the course.

I’m also a volunteer campaigner and spokesperson at the UK Student Climate Network, where I mostly focus on policy based and outreach projects, however I do a multitude of things ranging from grassroots organising, to work on COP 26, to culture work.

As well as being a spokesperson at UKSCN, I do a range of other media related work, both inside and outside of the organisation. To date, I have written for/ featured in publications including The Independent, New Statesman, gal-dem magazine, Marie Claire, Refinery 29, amongst many others. I’ve also appeared on numerous TV and Radio programmes, from BBC Breakfast, to ITV, to Sky News, to Capital radio.

Furthermore, I am a co-founder of Youth Stem Matters - a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) journal produced by and for young people.[5]
