Ronald Watkins (born 1987 or 1988) is an American imageboard website administrator who has played a major role in spreading the alt-right QAnon's false and cryptic posts alleging that then-President Trump was waging war against an elite international cabal of Satan-worshipping pedophiles, and in promulgating the idea that widespread election fraud led to Joe Biden's victory over Donald Trump in the US/2020 Presidential election.[1]
Ron Watkins served as site administrator for 8chan from 2016 until he announced he had resigned in November 2020. He is the son of Jim Watkins, the owner and operator of 8chan. Some journalists and researchers believe that one or both of the Watkinses know the identity of, or are themselves, "Q", the person or group of people behind QAnon.[2]
