Poul Louis Justman Jacob was a Dutch industrial manager.

Background

Poul Louis Justman Jacob was born on January 8, 1910 in Copenhagen, Denmark. After attending the Lyceum in Amsterdam, he took up the study of economics at the Municipal University of Amsterdam, which he completed with the doctoral examination in 1935.[1]

Career

A year later, Poul Louis Justman Jacob joined the services of the steel maker Koninklijke Hoogovens as an employee of the economic department. In 1945 he received a power of attorney and became secretary of the Board and the Supervisory Board. In 1959 he was appointed Secretary General and in 1961 deputy and in 1962 as ordinary member of the board, where he was responsible for finance and accounting.[1]

He sat on a number of corporate boards[2].

He was member of Prince Bernhard's 1001 Club.[3]
