The Norwegian Ambassador to Italy is Norway's highest diplomatic representative to Italy. The ambassador is also accredited to Malta and San Marino. F
Overview
Political relations are developed both bilaterally and through common membership in the international organizations UN, NATO, OSCE and Council of Europe. The two countries share a common market through the EU-EFTA European Economic Area (EEA) treaty[1]
The Norwegian delegation to three Rome-based UN organizations is located at the Norwegian Embassy in Rome. The UN delegation safeguards Norway's interests in the three UN organisations in Rome: the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
