Bowie is a journalist and correspondent with Asia Times and the editor of its regional newsletter, the Southeast Asia Insider. He is based in Singapore and reports on current affairs, trade, diplomacy and international relations in Southeast Asia and Greater China. Originally from New York City, he has lived in Southeast Asia for more than a decade.[2]
