In Jamaica, the Leader of the Opposition (officially the Leader of His Majesty's Most Loyal Opposition) is the leader of the largest political party in the House of Representatives that is not in government.
Edward Seaga, leader of the opposition 1974-1980, collaborated with the CIA to destabilize the country and topple the government of PM Michael Manley,[1][2] leading to Seaga himself becoming PM in 1980.
