Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA) are a UK-based NGO demanding political change for Palestine. FOA have been at the forefront of campaigning for Palestine for 25 years and are proud to be the most-followed anti-apartheid organisation in the UK.[1]
FOA's work is led by volunteers and based on international law and UN resolutions.
Campaigns
Some of the things FOA do:
- BDS – FOA run effective campaigns to raise awareness, build support and implement change
- Palestine in Parliament – FOA work with MPs, councillors and policy makers so they can make better decisions for Palestine
- Events - FOA have hosted over 1000 events for people to learn and get active for Palestine, including Palestine Expo
- Educational material - FOA have distributed over 4 million pieces of literature to the British public
- Students – we support and encourage students on campuses across the country to get active for Palestine[2]
