Dr Clare Gardiner is Director National Resilience & Strategy at the UK National Cyber Security Centre, whence she was seconded on 5 June 2020 to the role of Director General of the Joint Biosecurity Centre (JBC).[1] The JBC is part of the NHS Test and Trace service which is led by Executive Chair Baroness Dido Harding.[2]
Prior to joining the NCSC in 2018, Dr Gardiner held a range of operational and policy roles across government, including Cyber Counsellor at the British Embassy in Washington DC.[3]
