The highest-ranking US military officer. They arrange for what is required to win their conflicts.Boss of the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. |
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) is the highest-ranking military officer in the United States Armed Forces[1] and is the principal military advisor to the US President, the National Security Council,[2] and the Secretary of Defense.[2][3]
While normally not conflict-shy, every one of them having command over multiple wars and interventions, they also have to see the overall picture, and control lower ranking officers that are even more hungry for war (see Douglas MacArthur).
