He came to sudden prominence with his sister Casey Means after an August 2024 episode of the Tucker Carlson podcast.[7]
He was promoted by RFK Jr, which also gave away that Means had curiously deep connections. In the August 2024 speech where he ended his presidential campaign, RFK called the obscure Calley "arguably the leading advocate for food safety," and "urged you to view Tucker Carlson's recent interview with Calley Means...Calley had been working on and off for my campaign and advising me on subjects since the beginning. I was delighted when Calley told me that he had also been advising President Trump. Then he asked if I would take a call from the president. President Trump telephoned me a few minutes later, and I met with him the following day. A few weeks later, I met again with President Trump and his family members and close advisers in Florida. And in a series of long, intense discussions, I was surprised to discover that we are aligned on many key issues. And in those meetings he suggested that we join forces as a unity party."[8]
The purpose of making the siblings prominent is to deflect the resistance to coerced mRNA jabs into a focus on personal choices in diet.[9]
