Saud bin Nasir Al-Sabah, while Kuwaiti Ambassador to the US, had his daughter Nayirah coached by Hill & Knowlton to lie about the behaviour of Iraqi soldiers. This was widely regarded as an effective piece of war propaganda, which facilitated the US invasion of Kuwait in 1990.

Career

He was ambassador of Kuwait to the UK from 1975 to 1981. He was then Ambassador the USA from 1981 to 1992.
