Michael Fawcett left his role as senior valet to Prince Charles in September 2021.[1]
He is accused of promising to help secure a knighthood for a Saudi billionaire. The Daily Mail published a letter from 2017 in which Fawcett reportedly wrote that he was willing to make an application to change businessman Mahfouz Marei Mubarak bin Mahfouz's honorary CBE to a KBE, and support his application for British citizenship.[2]
