Al-Yamamah arms deal
Tony Blair wrote a "secret and personal" letter to the Attorney-General, Lord Goldsmith, which had the effect of stopping the investigation by the Serious Fraud Office into the multi-billion pound Al-Yamamah arms deal.[1]
