The largest private biomedical research institution in the United States. Spooky. |
The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) is the largest private biomedical research institution in the United States. It is based in Chevy Chase, Maryland, northeast of Washington, D.C., and was founded in 1953 by Howard Hughes[1], a billionaire who ad extensive ties to the military-industrial complex[2]
For its first three decades, its image was "inextricably linked to its founder's reputation for secrecy, insanity and intrigue."[3] By 1986, it had become "potentially the most powerful private force in medical research on earth."[3]
Dead scientist
The deaths of five microbiologists between 12 Nov 2001 and 12 Dec 2001 have one link in common -- the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.[4]
Long-time biowarfare investigator Patricia Doyle, PhD, reports that there is a history of people connected to HHMI being murdered. In 1994, Jose Trias met with a friend in Houston, Texas and was planning to go public with his personal knowledge of HHMI "front door" grants being diverted to "back door" black ops bioresearch. The next day, Trias and his wife were found dead in their Chevy Chase, Md.,home. Chevy Chase is where HHMI is headquartered. Police described the killings as a professional hit[5].
Tsunao Saitoh, who formerly worked at an HHMI-funded lab at Columbia University, was shot to death on May 7, 1996, while sitting in his car outside his home in La Jolla, California. Police also described this as a professional hit.[5]
CIA front
HHMI funds a tremendous number of research programs at schools, hospitals and research facilities, and has long been alleged to be conducting " black ops" biomedical research for intelligence organizations, including the CIA.
Jim Hougan listed it as a CIA front, "Howard Hughes Medical Institute (involved CIA operated hospital for plastic surgery, recuperations, concealments, and other covert operations, literal and figurative, where CIA's Evergreen International Airlines flew both Shah of Iran and Howard Hughes in their last days".[6]
Emerging pathogens
In January 2023, the the Institute committed $100 million to a new Emerging Pathogens Initiative to "develop new, untested approaches that can reveal how pathogens work and how the human immune system responds to pathogen infection."[7]
