Robert Zadrazil is an Austrian banker who attended the 2024 Bilderberg meeting as Country Manager Austria for the Italian multinational UniCredit Group, which he was appointed to in April 2024.[1] Before that, he was CEO of Bank Austria.[2]
Covid as an opportunity
Commenting at an online press conference on 24 September 2021 to launch the new GoGreen account, CEO of UniCredit Bank Austria Robert Zadrazil, said: "The Covid-19 crisis has shown we now have the unique opportunity to join forces and transform the Austrian economy into a sustainable, low-carbon system. The banking industry must be part of the solution and can act as a key part of this process by financing investments related to climate protection. Leveraging on this will help us generate an effect far greater than in any other industry."[3]
