A BBC "fact checking service" |
BBC Verify was launched in May 2023 to "address the growing threat of disinformation and build trust with audiences by transparently showing how BBC journalists know the information they are reporting".[1] 60 journalists are part of the team, including Ros Atkins, the corporation’s analysis editor, and Marianna Spring, its disinformation correspondent.[2]
