Jackie Walorski was a Republican member of the US House of Representatives.
Political positions
Walorski was opposed to mask mandates.[1]
Death
She was killed in a head-on car crash on 2 August 2022. A car crossed the road and veered into the congresswoman's vehicle.[2] Two of her aides who were in her car died as well.[3] The driver of the other car was also killed.[4] Walorski became the fifth House member to die while in office in 2022.[5][6]
An investigation is underway.[7]
