Dutch Atlanticist recruitment and networking platform for the security apparatus.

JASON Institute for Peace and Security Studies is a Dutch Atlanticist recruitment and networking platform for the security apparatus. JASON is short for Jong Atlantisch Samenwerkingsorgaan Nederland, meaning it is part of the Atlantic Treaty Association network.

Overview

JASON primarily works with students and young professionals by means of organizing interactive and instructional events with leading (international) experts[1]. JASON furthermore publishes its own quarterly magazine.[2]

For over 40 years, the JASON Institute for Peace and Security Studies has been engaged in creating networks and recruiting promising students and young-professionals to the Dutch security apparatus, in a NATO context. The institute arranges events and gatherings to make sure young people with the reliably right attitude are recruited.

Board and Staff

JASON is filled with military and other government links, as is to be expected of a NATO-close institution. The Advisory Board of JASON consists out of nine members who all have an exceptional background and an international renowned reputation in foreign policy, security or the military.[3], including British Julian Lindsey-French of the Integrity Initiative.
