The University of Delaware is a public land-grant research university located in Newark, Delaware. UD is the largest university in Delaware. It offers three associate's programs, 148 bachelor's programs, 121 master's programs (with 13 joint degrees), and 55 doctoral programs across its eight colleges.[1] The University of Delaware is one of the most prestigious state universities in the USA, a so-called Public Ivy. It is particularly well known for its research and teaching in the fields of biochemistry, chemistry and chemical engineering.
