Mort Sahl is a comedian and political satirist. He was still performing stand-up comedy at age 89.[1]
Career
Sahl pioneered a style of social satire which pokes fun at political and current event topics using improvised monologues and only a newspaper as a prop.
Opinions
Mort Sahl was doubtful about the Pentagon papers. He supported of the Jim Garrison investigation in New Orleans and was a critic of the Warren Commission.[2]
Legacy
George Carlin was influenced by Sahl.
