A major update of the code software (MediaWiki), to v. 1.32.2^[1] and v.3.0.2 of Semantic MediaWiki.

6 July

Software upgrade completed. Data is being rebuilt. Templates are being upgraded to match, some pages will have garbage text until this is completed. -- Robin (talk) 16:25, 4 July 2019 (UTC)

Mediawiki software upgrade. Editing will be disabled during part of the upgrade. There may also be brief periods when the site is not accessible --Peter (talk) 20:29, 2 July 2019 (UTC)

Begin the SMW upgrade. Editing will be disabled during parts of the upgrade. A database rebuild will follow which may slow normal server response times for several days --Peter (talk) 08:15, 15 June 2019 (UTC)

Server upgrade + re-jigging caches and database configs involving Localsetting.php edits. May have to stop and restart both web server and/or MySQL + plus re-boot the main server.
