Chingford and Woodford Green is a constituency in North East London represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Sir Iain Duncan Smith of the Conservative Party since its creation in 1997.

CLP resignations

On 11 June 2024, The Daily Politik reported:

50 members of Chingford and Woodford Green Constituency Labour Party have resigned following the deselection of Faiza Shaheen.
It comes after 7 Labour councillors in Slough resigned, citing the treatment of Faiza Shaheen and Diane Abbott and accusing the party of institutional racism.[2]
