Morrisons is the fourth largest chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom.
The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is part of the FTSE 250 Index of companies.
History
Morrisons was founded in 1899 in England.
In August 2021, Morrisons agrees to a $9.54 billion takeover from private-equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.[1]
In September 2021, Morrisons announced that they would be cutting sick pay for staff who haven't had the COVID-19/Vaccine.[2] This was confirmed in January 2022.[3]
