These awards[1] by the deep state think-tank Atlantic Council are "designed to spotlight the inspired leadership our complex world requires" - it is heavy on NATO leaders.
By sponsoring this Award, the big corporate sponsors (weapons, oil etc.) receive "benefits"..."that are strategically tailored around".."your company’s interests"[2].
In addition some artists (Bono,Placido Domingo etc) are awarded.
