Robert Philip Hanssen is a FBI agent found guilty of spying for cash.
Charges
He plead guilty to selling U.S. secrets to the Soviet Union and subsequently the Russian Federation for more than US$1.4 million in cash and diamonds over a 22-year period.[1] The USDOJ have described this as "possibly the worst intelligence disaster in U.S. history."[2] responsible for "".
