Virginia Bottomley, Baroness Bottomley of Nettlestone, (née Garnett) is a British Conservative Party politician. She was a Member of Parliament (MP) for South West Surrey from 1984 to 2005, when her cousin Jeremy Hunt inherited the constituency. Virginia was then ennobled and became Baroness Bottomley of Nettlestone.

She now lobbies on behalf of the private health sector, was a director of BUPA between 2007-2013 and currently Smith and Nephew. Previously she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Akzo Nobel NV from 2000–12, and is a Trustee of the Economist.

As part of her pro-bono activities, Baroness Bottomley is Chancellor of the University of Hull. She was a Governor of the London School of Economics for 31 years. She is a member of the UK Advisory Council of the International Chamber of Commerce. She is Chair of Board Practice at executive head-hunting firm Odgers Berndtson where she has been since 2000.

Baroness Bottomley is the aunt of former Labour MP Tristram Hunt, whom she head-hunted to become Director of London's Victoria and Albert Museum in December 2016.
