Johannes Großmann is a private lecturer at the Seminar for Contemporary History at Tübingen University in Germany. His research focuses on transnational and comparative history, the history of the Second World War, European integration and the Cold War, as well as the history of political ideas, the history of memory and the history of knowledge. He is currently working on research projects on the global history of anti-communism and the history of science in the colonial era.[1]

In 2014, Großmann published a number of unknown revelations about Le Cercle in Die Internationale der Konservativen. Transnationale Elitezirkel und private Außenpolitik in Westeuropa seit 1945. ('The Conservative Internationale. Transnational elite circles and private foreign policy in Western Europe since 1945')[2]
