The Stellenbosch Mafia is a network of wealthy Afrikaners with connections to the South African deep state. Their business empires are said to have grown out of and are inextricably linked to the little town of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape Province, with a huge influence over South Africa's politicians and economy.
