Sudden death
She died shortly after the first dose of the Oxford–AstraZeneca COVID-19/Vaccine.[1] She complained of a headache. She was treated for blood clots at hospital. Doctors found a brain haemorrhage.[2]
Her husband has called for people to be given vaccine choice.[3]
Inquest
On 27 August 2021, the coroner found the complications from the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency's chief safety officer, Dr Alison Cave, said it would be "reviewing" the coroner's verdict.
"The benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine AstraZeneca continue to outweigh the risks for most people," she said.
"It is therefore still vitally important that people come forward for their vaccination and for their second dose when invited to do so."[4]
