Generally a two horse race in which both horses are bought and paid for by the ruling US deep state faction.

The United States presidential elections are, in the words of Hunter S. Thompson "big bogus showdowns"[1] which take place every 4 years. As with a lot of national elections in "democracies", the large majority of votes tend to be given to just two political parties. Accordingly, which of relevance to the individuals involved, it is actually not particularly important to the deep state, who tend to control both sides long before polling day.

Importance to US Deep state

Since the 1963 Assassination of John F. Kennedy, The Cabal has controlled almost all the subsequent US Presidents, the exceptions being Richard Nixon (in his second term, when the Watergate coup was hatched to unseat him, in so settling GHWB's place atop the US deep state) and Jimmy Carter.[2]

Carroll Quigley“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy. … Either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies”Carroll Quigley1966
