Operation Paperclip was the project which relocated German scientists who had been more or less enthusiastic supporters of Adolf Hitler to the USA. This included some (such as Dr. Theodor Benzinger who had been on the list of accused at the Nuremberg Doctors' Trial and were never tried).

Some of the Nazis tried at Nuremberg had already been working for the U.S. in either Germany or the U.S. prior to the trials."[1]

On 15 May 2023, Steve Bogan posted on Facebook:
