Brian Bogart is a US peace activist.[1][2]

Background

Raised in the heart of Silicon Valley during the Civil Rights movement, his antiwar family subsequently found it nearly impossible to avoid defense industry-related careers. He left the area after turning down DoD security clearance at three separate jobs, moving to Eugene, Oregon to pursue higher education and discovered DoD contracts at his school.[3] He became an University of Oregon graduate student in Peace Studies.
